    1936-S/42-"G- Block" Police Luger

Here are a couple of shots of a pretty scarce Luger variation.
It is a S/42-1936, "g- block". These were procured for the police and have military acceptance stamps.
Still estimates that about 200 of these were procured in 1936 in the 6000g range.
It's Franz Cobau holster is 95 numbers off from the pistol and still has it's matching tool.
Both magazines are matched to the pistol. Magazine number "1" was manufactured by "Stark". Magazine number "2" is not maker marked.

Very Very Nice Mr. Blue!!!! I like a gun that shows some honest wear. No frills about this one.... Very workmanlike specimen. Maybe it's just a little scratch in the frame just above the grip on the left side, but it looks like it could have had a magazine safety at one time. But methinks the pistol is of a newer genre than that.

P.S. The holster is a beaut!!!
