MP 40 value

Have a chance to buy a registered MP40 in good condition with waffenampt stamps. Comes with one mag. and nothing else. Blue is probably 85% and mechanically good. All numbers match. Unfortunately I do not have a photo. Have any idea of current retail? Would appreciate any comments. Thanks Tomt

If it is a tube gun you are looking around 6000-7000, if it's a original gun then you are up in the 10-15k range. This is of course assuming it is a fully transferable MP40.

Thanks Gary for your reply. The one I have been offered is original and can be bought for 8K. Looks like I should look at it real seriously. Thanks again Tomt How would I know if it is a "tube gun"? This is out of my experience factor.
