Hi all, I have a question inregards to a symbol I have seen on a barrel. It appears to look like a small flower. Has anyone ever seen or know anything about this? I will post a picture from another weapon that has it, it is near the serail number on the barrel of the picture. In a related note, I also have a K98 later war that also has what appears to be the outlines of the same, but not very much is stamped into the metal. This however is more on the top of the barrel between where the rear sight and the barrel markings.
