    Karl Frank's 1910 Mauser?

I got this pistol from a reputable dealer (Kieth Cumberland) who got it from the vet who captured it. I'd really like to hear from someone in the know about it. Especially the inscription which is engraved into the black plastic grip. Grip letters show some wear and light yellowing whereas the other was recently done. Thanks, Ned
    Better pic below!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Another pic of the 1910

It's crown "U" proofed not WaA but then again Frank was a loyal Nazi since 1919 or before and I wonder if the inscription below his name may give an idea as to which point he was in his career? Does anyone know what any of the insrcibed abbreviations under his name mean? I really appreciate any info I get. A sample signature from someone would be really great too.
    Thanks Again, Ned

      Ned,
I know Keith from NAPCA and I have bought a couple of things from him.
You might want to post this pistol on Still's Luger forum page. It's part of www.gunboards.com They have a section on 6,35 pistols and lots of the NAPCA members frequent the sight.
I would have to have it in hand and see it without the wax in the lettering. You have to be very careful with this sort of thing.

Better pic of engraving on grip.

Thanks, Blue. Sorry about the picture of the engraving on the back strap of the plastic grip. He also wrote his name in the holster (can be plainly seen)which is worn and dirty but still visible. I wonder if I compared signatures if it would help provide , at least, some provinance. Thanks for the info and I will use it.
Best, Ned I've uploaded this picture half a dozen times and I just won't cooperate. Looks like a first grade puzzle. What can I say?
