    CZ-24 "Luftwaffe" rig

I was digging around again this afternoon and decided to pull this out to show off the holster.
The gun is a captured CZ-24 but the holster is German manufacture.
It was manufactured by the Heinrich Krieghoff firm and is Luftwaffe accepted. The holsters were made up for the Luftwaffe to use with these captured Czech pistols. It is not a common variation and one that you should keep an eye out for at the shows.
The holster is hard and form fitted not unlike the P.08 and P.38 holsters. It's spare magazine pouch is internal.

                      Very nice CZ24.

A friend of mine has one of these as well, with the Krieghoff holster too, only his CZ has Luftwaffe unit markings on the grip strap!!!

Thanks for sharing it with us!

                        Matt,
Most likely the unit marks on his grip strap are from a former Czech unit and not German.

Very nice rig. R.Blue is correct about the unit markings on the front grip strap, which is typically where the Czech military stamped unit identification.
I have a vz24, also made in 1928, which is stamped 4H 434, Fourth Mountain Infantry Regiment.
It has an earlier unit stamp which is lined out.

                              R.Blue,

Nope! They are definatly German markings, since it has Czech unit markings on the slide!!! I can't remember what the markings were, but I believe it was for a Luftwaffe feild post. I'll have to check it next time I see that guy.
