Luger deal in question

A vet is selling a luger to my freind and it is missing the barrel and the grip on the left side is cracked. He wants 50 dollars for it would this be a good deal?

It is worth $50 as a paperweight. It is worth far more than $50 just for the parts. Add a barrel and you have low priced shooter.
