ZF41/1 sun shade

HI Guys
Just wanted to know if any one can help me. I have a ZF41 scope and a BYF 1944 k98 with a walnut stock and can all matching. My question is I have 3 sun shades, 2 front ones and one back one . The 2 front ones I have are a little different. One has a stock number at the end .Looks like a late war one and the other one is a earler one. But the earler one does not fit on the scope.It seems to be a little smaller in Diameter Could it be from another manufacture of another ZF41 scope different code. ???? Can some one help me on this.I have been poundering on this for a while. I had these since 1983.

Nick, can you post a photo of the front ones? Maybe the zf40, zf41 and zf41/1 scopes are slightly different regarding the diameter of the front objective lens, but I have never noticed that before.

I have two of these scopes and one is larger in diameter than the other, I'll post later how they are marked.

The left one is for ZF41 (Type1) and the right is for ZF41 (Type2) and ZF41/1. See some more info here.

I was wondering why the different sizes. Now I know. I almost got rid of it because of the different size and it didnt fit the scope.
