          Hi,

Hard to tell from the pictures, but I think it was reblued. Note the absence of wear in its higher points and end of barrel.

What is the proof (crossed swords??) stamped on the left side of the trigger guard? If I remember correctly Russian reworked/captured guns have a "X" but this one I don******180;t know...

Looks reblued to me (note the F on the safety is filled with blue...should be red) and you have noted the absence of wear anywhere on the piece.

              Thanks Guys,
The crossed swords is a British deactivation mark MARKED 0 X 4.

This looks like a dipped piece. Looks exactly like those imports that are sold by FGS.

I'm pretty confident it's been redone. When a gun is reblued, they have to buffer off the original blueing (hence the markings are looking pretty dull). Which would also explain why it was restamped. There's no reason whatsoever that the Germans would have to restamp a gun (esp. with a stamp that's under a year old). Sorry. Fun shooter grade though

I am positive it is reblued because this is a dark grey color and the German bluing was a blackish color. This gun looks parkerized
