Km P08

Hello,

I was presented a 1938 S/42 P08.
This P08 has serial N°9605 and is marked N3549 in the back of the grip.
These NXX (Nordsee) markings were usually used on KM marked (Eagle-M)guns.
This particular P08 has no eagle/M marking.
Has someone informations about KM-P08's? Or such a gun?
Any info is welcome.

Frank, I Believe that the German navy stopped putting the Eagle M markings on Lugers during 1935..And just continued with the KM property numbers, preceded with a N, or O.. But the KM Eagle M was continued on PO8 holsters as late as 1938 .. I would love to see some picts...BILL

The gun is still at the gundealer.
I will try to have some pictures. I compared the NXX marking with that on other KM guns and it looks just like the others.
