Does anyone know of a source for reasonably nice Sauer 38H grip panels? I am trying to restore one for display in my local museum. It was recovered from a burglar after a high speed chase with the Police where it was thrown from a car. He had to be doing 60+ as the frame and slide were really hammered and the frame bent over 1/8" out of position. As Sauer grips don't fare well with normal handling, you can imagine how well they survived that ordeal.
I know Numrich has reproductions for about $24 but don't have any idea how good or bad the quality is. Comments. And while I'm at it, it also needs 2 grip screws and a cocking lever and spring. Thanks.
