    Luger S/42 37

Hello guys...I haven't chased weapons in so long I'm completly out of touch regarding value.

I may have the option to trade for a 90% blue, 100% matching w/ 1 clip and '37 dated holster..

Please give me a 'round' figure of value
    Regards,
    Dave

The 2005 Blue Book of Gun Values lists that model at 90% at $800. The 2006 book is not out yet, and every year for the last 5 years WWII Lugers have gone up in price about 10%. Of course this is just a guide and not Gods word.

I don't know how much to add to the price with a holster. Another $200?

Jason's estimate is not bad-most sellers and dealers today will actually want a couple hundred more.
The early '37 with strawed small parts would be a little higher.
Be careful-hard to find an un-messed ith luger.

        Jason, Mike...thanks a lot!

'straw' yes, I recall just as I was getting out of weapons collecting that even that was being reproduced along w/ the plum color!!

        Dave
