    Please help with stock

    Please take a look at this picture (click on image in order to enlarge it). Is the screw in the area there normally bolt handle ends original or is it attached by some hunter? To me it looks original but on most of the stocks there are no screws in this area.

      Sir: That's a recoil lug....I believe these extra recoil lugs are postwar French added......Definitely not WW2 German IMHO.....Bodes
