    Help with Beretta M1934

    Hello All,
    <O</O
I picked-up this Beretta today and know very little about them. I did find a little information on the web but not much. About the only thing I know at this point is that it is a model 1934 dated 1938 and as army an acceptance mark (crown over “RE”). The opposite side has a crown over what appears to be “FAC” and under that “39” or “38” or 3?. Can anyone tell me what these markings mean? The slide and frame are matching, but the slide has a different finish. The slide is more of a brown finish. Is this common or has the slide been refinished? It has two clips, an unmarked one with a finger rest and one marked ”Cal 9 Corto- “ followed by “BERETTA” (which appears to have be stamped on top of another marking). What type of round does this pistol fire and is it easily available?
    <O</O
    Thanks,
    <O</O

9 mm Corto is .380 A.C.P. here in the states. It is available at any gun shop and is not that expensive.

          Thanks Jason,

I was hoping that it would not be an odd-ball round.
