Seems if this guy wants to sell sure a rare lugar he would post much better pictures..

First of all, I have seen at least 15 of these over the years, so many more are known besides just 7. Second, It is strange there is no photo of chamber with crossed rifles. It is the defining charactoristic of the Russian Luger. Third, without better photo's it looks refinished. Better and more photo's is the answere.

I have seen quite a few of these fellows over the last ten years. At one point I had one that I was selling for a gentleman. It was part of his collection, most of which I bought, but I would not buy it. He had bought it from a "famous Luger collector" in Arizona and so I would not buy it.

I did manage to broker it for him but it took several years. Most folks I offered it to during that period ran away in fear when I disclosed the name of the guy from whom my seller bought the gun. The Russian Luger, like the '06 Bulgarian and some of the other "rare" early Lugers are very dangerous. Big name dealers at the very top of the feeding chain are suspected of having produced dozens of such counterfeits over the years.
