HF Francis?

I have came across a unique pistol that was captured at normandy. the pistol has paper stating the owner of the gun i guess by the military of some sort as a captured weapon. the paper work doesn't tell you much about the gun, only that its listed as a german gun. but it has no markings on it. on the top of the slide their is the letting which i think it says something like "Francis" or somthing on that order and the grips have "HF". very short pistol. it almost looks like a liberator except i think its a .25 cal. any help would be greatly appreciated.

oh i found another pistol like it. the one i'm looking at ins't engraved or anything but it does have the original holster to it. and it has capture papers stating it to be from normandy. what do you think the approx value of this piece is?

Sure the grips don't say MF instead of HF?

You sound like you're describing one of the Manufrance "Le Francais" models.
