Panzerfaust Head

Hi,
I've just got this repro/dummy panzerfaust head from Spanish Ebay - it has been made from wood and turned on a lathe.
Is it just a modern repro or a WW2 period dummy for training? It has obviously been repainted and had a fake sticker slapped on recently - there are no markings visible. I am not fussed either way as it was cheap and is to go on an original tube.

Hi John,

It is modern. The gouge is where the lathe operator was trying to pull away the tool and it got caught in the wood so it ripped out a section, it is fairly common with low experience lathe operators.
