KKW Q and Walther PP Q

Iam contemplating buying a Hitler Youth KKW in excellent condition for around 600. High? Low? what is the ball park figure max and lows. Also I recently acquired a Walther PP prewar Zellamehlis with the N proof on it. It also has a 90 degree safety. I cannot seem to find any information on this anywhere. From what I saw online 800 to 1100? Someone please confirm or deny. The serial number is 882,xxx (I cannot remember the last 3). Thanks!

Is the KKW matched? Is there a Unit Mark on the butt stock? If it is a true KKW, meaning that there is a stock disc and an upper band spring with a bayonet lug. If it has these three items then it's a true KKW and that would be a good price IMO. If it lacks the upper band and bayonet lug then it's a DSM34 and that might be just a little high, unless it has a unit marked stock. I have both versions, a true KKW unit marked paid about $800, DSM34 unit marked $600 and a DSM34 with stock disc, some consider this a KKW, I personally don't.

Excellent HJ marked KKW? Gustloff? Complete with cleaning rod, sling and muzzle cap? All of that in excellent condition with proper HJ Bann marking would be at $1500. $600 for an excellent piece is a nice buy. A plain vanilla Walther PP C/N is worth at the most $800 in my opinion. Probably less.

well they started ser# on the PP at 750000 so your 882xxx is one of the first 132000 that were produced, at the 1mill mark they added the p to the ser # this is a rather desireable pistol and if in 95%+ condition should bring close to $1000

PP and PPK production shared the serial numbers from 750 000. So this pistol was not one of the first 132 000 made. Dieter Marschall wrote an excellent book recently on Walther pistols and it explains the PP/PPK series. The P suffix was added in the 900 000 range and then began at the 100 000 P range. The gun is still a standard commercial and less desireable than contract pistols of that period.
