Live Firing FG42!

I´m searching for pics and videos about live firing the FG-42, and about the muzzle flash when firing the rifle!
Found in the net many live firing videos about dozen of rifles´, but not one with the FG42.

Here is a photo of the muzzle flash, taken from 'German Automatic Weapons of WW.2' by Robert Bruce....

The above photo is of George Petersen firing the 2nd model he used to own. Note the original FG42 bandoleer.

Here I am firing a 1st model on full auto.

If you do a search on "FG42" in this section, you will find a thread were we discussed live firing these.

The muzzle brake is effective in controlling recoil and muzzle flip, but not as effective in controlling muzzle flash. Other muzzle brakes on other firearms do the reverse. It also comes down to the type of powder used in the round.

This is an Italian website which shows many modern weapons being fired but also several WW2 guns, including the FG42 Don't laugh or cry when the bayonet falls off during firing
