FN Browning Holster help

Hello,

I picked up a FN browning type 1 pistol over the weekend. It's a nice piece WAA613 proof marked serial 52105. It has a 500 tangent sight, slot for the stock and is a high finish with the correct proof marks. I would like to acquire the correct holster for this pistol. Can anyone help with this?

I am not sure even where to begin. I am interested in pistols and do not know much about the correct original holsters for a FN browning.

I have read somewhere that FN Browning were issued to the Luftwaffe is that correct?

Can someone suggest where I can acquire one and what to look for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know they are all orginal. I bought a well used CGN44 Browning holster from him awhile back. It was in decent shape but had Russian capture markings on it. I have a well worn late model P35 so it looks good with it. Overall I was well pleased with the purchase.

Hi- What you want is a pre war Belgian HP holster as pictured on p. 85 of Jan Stills Axis Pistols. Collectablefirearms.com has one. I have this holster and it is a beautiful piece of work. Bob
