MG42 kit - how to put it together?

Does anyone know how you can legally weld up one of these MG42 kits so you get some functionality, but it is unquestionably legal? I'm sure you could weld the whole thing into a solid block of steel, but can it be made so that some features - like the feed tray - can still operate? Anyone with any experience in these matters, pls advise! s/f Robert
