Try this site: www.gunboards.com There are various sponsors such as Aim there, and there is even a discussion board on the SKS and AK rifles. Are you looking for a specific SKS such as a Soviet, Romanian, Chinese, etc?

Johann, Everybody has their own preferences and I don’t know what your budget is, or how soon you want one, but IMO most of the recent imports are a little on the crude side. To me the best looking ones were a small percentage of the ones originally imported from Russia a while back. They were totally original issue guns not refinished like most of the Russians that are seen. Some of the early Chinese ones are also well made and finished, but it was the Russian ones that were the best. And if you can find one the original laminated stock models commanded a premium but are harder (but not impossible) to find. I have not seen many of these turn up on the internet but do see them periodically at local shows. Regards, FP

shesh what a bunch stuff to go thru, ffls and what not to buy online just find out were you local acadamey sporting goods or your big 5 is. thats all you gotta do man. yugo 59/66 i believe for around 150-200 depends when they go on sale.
