    Hi Matt,

Yes the mag is marked as well as serial numbered. Numbers match throuout (even the mag!!!). As for the swastika it is kinda neat. It's only on the one side and is attatched by some type of glue. It is an old mod though as the glue has darkened. I initially thought that it might have been GI done but I've never seen a swastika like it before. This leads me to believe that it might have been done by the original owner. A mystery indeed.

    Thanks,
    Greg

      Sounds great Greg!
The swastika does look neat, and like I said, it adds character to the gun!
Glad that you were able to get it!

Nice looking P37 Greg, and I love the holsters!

I just love those Luftwaffe drop holsters. They are my personal favorite!

                Drop Holsters!

                Matt,
Glad you like the drop holster, it came out of St. Petersburg Russia
and was in the collection of a Russian. The reason I bought the holster is that there are two "Royal" Hungarian proof stamps under the flap along with the German markings. On the back of the holster are the Luft. Waffe markings.
My guess is that it was supplied to them by Germany as they also carried a model of this gun?
Since you mentioned you like "Drop holsters" I will post a thread for you tonight with a selection of drop holster, most are Luft. and two have the owners name's (German) along with Feldpost numbers!
                Regards,
                Robert

                  Holsters

                  Hi Robert,

Thanks for posting photos of your pieces. I've really taken a shine to this model pistol since I acquired mine. I have managed to find a holster but the bloody thing is worth twice what I paid for the whole pistol!!! Any thoughts about where I could go to look for another?

                  Thanks again,
                  Greg

                    Holster

                    Greg,
I run into these from time to time. Should I find a nice one would you like me to pick it up for you? What did the fellow want for the one he offered you? You can PM me and I can tell you if he is asking to much but be warned the canvas ones fetch a pretty penny.
                    Regards,
                    Robert
