Typical Steyr manufactured MP40 recognizable by the simplified pistol grip. This was only produced late 1942 and early 1943. the bnz 41, 42 and 43 are the most common MP40's you can find. Still a nice example Giorg69 stated!

I checked the serial number on my MP40 serial listing and I see this specific MP40 was sold earlier by Raskantik in 2012.

Well Alex as you can see above, I had 2 posts and in one post I said that the serial number is in your database.
Do you think it is worn due to use or bad storage?

You might want to compare your refinished "deact" example (#1899g) to the original finish "Darby's Rangers" example (#7184g) that is posted a little lower on the Forum. Both are bnz42 guns, so that should facilitate a good comparison.
