Small Black Holster dated 1945 Eigentum der Sicherheitswache Wien

What do I have here? Small black leather holster stamped Eigentum der Sicherheitswache Wien (property of Security Guard, Vienna) and dated 1945. Small so for a PPK or other small pistol? Or is it a total fake for a spud gun?

Bill, I think the date is faked, but it is a post WWII Austrian police holster possibly for the 6,35mm Steyr M1906 tip-up. The Sicherheitswache was before and after 1945 the uniformed police of Vienna.

Thanks Joe, it's good to receive some informed comments. In hand it certainly looks as though it has seen considerable use with worn spots in the places you would expect from a lot of use.
