This is probably not the forum to post this, I am thrilled with the Shoei Type 1 FG42. I never have seen a real one in the flesh and I am too old to get on a waiting list for one of the semi-autos being made. This model is amazing!

Very nice. I have one of each model of the FG-42 and I was fortunate to have been the winning bidder when these came up at an auction a few years ago. These were made by Shoei not Sarco, but I think Sarco was one of the importers. For reasons that I don't understand Shoei only made about 1200 of the first model and 2000 of the second one. Shoei also has made replicas of the Japanese Type 100 but I believe only 500 of those were made.

Yes, I was surprised to see Sarco selling the Shoei Type 1 FG42. Apparently they have some new old stock of these. I was really surprised when I ordered it and they actually had it! Being a Japanese collector first, I always wanted the Type 100, but never found one.

Here are my two replica FG-42s. I think they both look pretty good. Far cheaper than selling my soul to own a real one!
