    New - Femaru P.37(ü)

    Hi guys,

Please enjoy my latest gun aquisition.
    A nice P.37, marked JHV 41, s/n 19039.
All matching except the mag, has s/n 22750.

It's in a nice condition, not mint but honest for it's age (and price) i feel.

    Enjoy,
    Kris

As i understand, these went primarely to the Luftwaffe, so maybe it was once the sidearm of a Flemish nskk volunteer

                Kris,

Thanks for sharing the pictures and congratulation for this new purchase. Very fine pistol with simple but efective design. One of the best for its caliber at that time (only behind the German ones like PP/PPK, HSc and Sauer 38H).

Just like to share a picture a friend of mine sent me last week. I think you (and the others) may will enjoy it.

                Regards,

                Douglas.

                    Hi guys,

Thanks for the nice comments and the picture !

Bill, here's a scan of the armband.
The scan doesn't make it look so good but it's clearer and better readable in reality.
I believe these were maybe worn by civil drivers or drivers from the early days in the occupied countrys when there was not yet an organisation set up... .

                    Greets,
                    Kris

                      Kris,

Is the gun live or has it been deactivated?

                            Hallo Kris,

As always you seem to find many nice things lately ... this weapon, the DMS sports shirt clotch patch, some documents, etc. ...

                            Nice going!

                              info

                              Congratulations Kris!
That one is a beauty! I suppose to call it FÉG, it is a existing company and we use their name like that. About the name: P37(u), where u stands for Ungarn/ungarisch (hungarian). I know the same story about this weapon. It was one of the regular pistols in the ww2 Hungarian Royal Army (strange, but we have not had a king since 1918) in 9mm as M37. The Luftwaffe got some thousands by contract as P37 (u) in 7,65mm caliber, with an added safety mechanism.
                              Regards
                              Tamás
