Unfortunately, the reason for the removal of the number is unknown, but it clearly happened in Norway.
Perhaps this is due to a very humane deactivation - now in Norway, weapons are deactivated much more strictly. The number could have been removed to complicate tracking of non-standard deactivation in the event of a sample being found during transportation to Russia.
