Make sure the think was fired. I know sometimes the head is missing, but it was not fired, and I as told the type of powder/system inside the tube can still be pretty dangerous.

Panzerfaust's found (1987)

Just some interesting info from long ago......
When I was stationed in Germany (1984-87) they were doing range upgrades at Grafenwohr and get this... while dozing and grading they uncovered a ton of panzerfaust's ! yes... in all about 2600 of them !
When we were training I always went by the EOD point and was amazed to see all the WW2 German ord items that had been recovered, everything you can imagine.
