    M1908 Styer Mannlicher?...

    I vet here in town owns this gun (i'm thinking about making an offer). I'm not really sure what its worth or actually what it is. The scope looks as if its from a K98. I don't know the caliber either any help would be great.

          Hello,

          I am not to sure on the scope but I don't think that the price should be to high. The rifle has been sporterized. Now about the caliber, most Mannlichers that I have seen come in 8mm Man. on the 5 round clips. Sorry I can't be much more help.

            I know its not 8MM for sure, I have think its 6.5x54MM. I have a box ordered to try it out... whish me luck, and thanks for the info and the help.

              Nice rifle you have there.
              My opinion it' s a hunting rifle in typical Manlicher caliber: 6,5 x 54 Manlicher- Schönauer.
              These rifles are known for their smooth action and rotating magazine.
