Late Production Nambu Vet-Purchased this Weekend!

I wanted to share with the group a wonderful late war (Feb 1945) pistol I purchased this past Saturday from the son of a Pacific veteran about an hour from my home. I also acquired two pristine officer swords at the same time. Rather than repost all the pictures, please have a look at the link in the Japanese forum: http://www.wehrmacht-awards.net/forums/showthread.php?p=1004329#post1004329

I am curious as to whether the cleaning rod is a hand-made item or a production piece. I was also wondering if the writing on the tag in the holster contains the officer's name as well as the pistol's number. Thank you all for your time.

    Great collecting!

Very neat items. I really enjoyed looking at the beautiful Nambu and the two officer swords. Thank you for posting them!

      Nambu Pistol

      Hello,

That is one fine looking Pistol Rig. I have never seen one like in my part of the world.

From the picture the cleaning rod looks like it would have been a production piece.
