I have 3 items that were in the bottom of a box of items sent to me from Russia... Does anyone know what they might be for?

            .45 Mag

            Hello Robert,

Could the .45 Mag be from a Norwegian Colt 45 made during or before the War?

            Just a thougt??

Photo #3 looks very much like a Baikal TOZ.22 bolt.

                Robert,

The magazine doesn't look to be phosphate to me. Instead it looks like it's made of nickle. If the base is painted black, then it's definately for a Norwegian M1914.

I don't know about the bolt, nor the trigger guard/magazine assy.

                Sorry,
                Matt

How are you? Thanks for the response! Would nickel have a rough feel to it and dull... It really feels like phosphate? Who would make a nickel .45 magazine?

Please keep the thoughts going on this one!

                  Thanks,
                  Robert

                      Magazine

Well one mystery has been solved; The .45 Cal. magazine is in fact a "early" phosphate finish loop magazine, I just got of the phone with a VERY old collector who told me that these were made in this fashion VERy early in the war and after a short period of time stopped being made like this.

So only two items left to fiqure out!

                      Robert
