Hello Fellow Members:Its been awhile since I,ve posted anything,but I need help on a HSC that I own.
The SN# is 81679x and it has the 3 lines on the slide.Several collectors have told me they did not start the 3 lines until SN# 855000 and its got me confused to say the least.Also the 3 digits of the SN are not on the frame or barrel breech either.There is a marking on the breech,but it is to small to make out even with a glass.The weapon is about 95% condition and is in great mechanical condition.
What I need to know is there anyone out there with one that fits my description? The collectors I,m referring to are very knowledgable individuals and I,m starting to think my pistol is not valid.It has all the proofs on the frame and slide as any other war time unit.Any help would really be nice and I would be very thankfull.Any ideas?
