    Jesse,

Could you show some more pics of your 'ERMA' I suspect it is not such but a spanish 'Coruña' (spanish copy ot the EMP produced post Spanish Civil War). See the following link:

      Spanish EMP copy

      Hi Carles,

Yes, after reading this highly informtive forum with great interest, I am also pretty sure it is a Spanish model - behind the mag well, under the serial number it says: CAL 9L
Which I would take as 9mm Largo, the Spanish round.
      Serial# F-6416
Benath rear sight: 63 and then a sideways 6.
It also says T & A on the selector lever - and, most tellingly, not a waffenampt in sight.
      Beneath front wooden foregrip "T"

I would like a mag for this one, but, will probably settle for a mock, up as origs seem almost unobtainable.

If I don't trade it for FJ gear (PM offers welcome, lol), which seems the focus of my current obsession,
I will probably set it up with a salty MP40 sling to match the condition of the gun itself.

I wonder what history this Coruna has seen, anyone who has read any Hemingway has an interest in the Spanish Civil War, and I am no different.

      Jesse.

        Hello Jesse,

I don't think that 'Coruña' has seen much history as it was probably produced after the Spanish Civil War. At most it would have been used to chase 'maquis' in the mountains in the 40's and 50's.

If you are interested in an original 'Coruña' mag I can try to find one for you but you would have to fill in a BATF form to import it.

          Carles,

You're dashing all my romantic fantasies, lol.

Thank you for the offer of a mag search.

I might just take you up on that.

We will be in Southern France again next year, if so I will touch base then.

          Thank you for the info.

          Jesse.

I'm sorry but that's the fact. Let me know when you land in Europe.
