    * The holster question Of The Summer *

    Here is two holster’s who most likely was used by German forces in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><ST1Norway </ST1</st1:country-region>during WWII. But do you know which origin and pistol they where intended for?

              Thats the photos, now another detail,- there are no markings on either of the holsters. Looking forward to hear your suggestions

                Okay! Since no one have dare to guess yet, here is som more clues:

                Holster #1 has a 7.65m.m. magazine pouch, and original color of the leather was brown, and black dyed after it was issued.

                Holster #2 has 9m.m. round pouches totally 9 pouches. and wear of a automatic inside.

                  First one looks like it's for a Mauser Model 1914, second one looks like it was originally made for a revolver and was modified at some point but for what..........??

                    Peter: #1 is not for the Model 1914, but one in same class.
                    The #2 is not converted or modified, its original made for automatic pistol.

                        Well,I am not sure and as nobody wants to give an opinion,I will risk mine.
                        Both holsters look to be from French origin.The second one could be for the 1892 Lebel revolver.
                        Sorry , but I am not very sure.Better luck with another answer.
