If you don't mind, please tell me about my HSc too

      The serial number is 934646.

On the left side, bottom of the trigger guard is a WaA135 stamp.

On the right side is the eagle with an N under it.

I don't see any other stamps on it.

Nilles: Your HSc, #748976, is a commercial pistol produced at the end of 1941. HSc's without an acceptance mark at the rear of the trigger guard on the left side were sold in the commercial market. ALL WWII HSc pistols have an eagle/N at two locations on the right side...these are factory firing proofs.

Roger: Your HSc. #934646, is an Army procured pistol since it bears the WaA135 stamp. It was produced in late 1944.

Note: Mauser HSc production began in late 1940 at serial number 700000 and ended in March 1945 at approx 952000. (252,000 pistols)

A question from Europe to Hochadler:

My HSc has no 776428 and small stamp marks on both sides of the base of the trigger guard (the left-hand one has no 135 under it). I recently aquired it from a retired Polish Army officer, who got from a colleague in the 1960s. Do you have any information on the history of this gun?

many thanks in advance, all the best

              Elgranda:
Your Mauser HSc, 776 428, was produced in mid-1942. The Eagle/135 on the left side is the Army acceptance proof. As a matter of interest, the E/135 proofed Mauser HSc's were also used by the Luftwaffe and SS who procured them from the Army. Police marked (Eagle/L) and Kriegsmarine (Navy) marked Eagle/M were procured separately by those branches.
