Great pics Bill. I understand these are pretty rare with waffenampt. Any idea how many were produced for German forces?

            Regards,
            Johnnie

Johnnie, There were approx. 50,000 with the Waffenamt of the Mod. 'D'...One of the rare ones in the French area is the Unique Model 16 with approx. 2000 with Waffenamt and the Kreigsmodel with 18,000 procured by the Germans...BILL

Hallo, nice MAB "D", congratulations! No markings on the holster? I would like to see more pics for looking french or german made.
Do the germans apposed their markings on the french "MAS 36" rifle; if yes, where?
                Greetings

                  Hi Bill,
Thanks for the info. I am interested in finding out more about other French arms used extensively by the Germans. I have always wondered why they didn't rechamber the MAS36 rifle to 7.92mm.
                  Regards,
                  Johnnie
