Although I find it hard to believe anyone could get $1000 worth of joy and appreciation out of this, they are extremely rare and expensive.....Bodes

Well being the receiver is not torch cut TWICE and the parts are beyond salvage it has no value in the USA .Simply due to the receiver being in one peice ( regardless of rust ) it is still a machinegun in the eyes of the ATF apparatchniks , and not legally imporatble due to the may 1986 Dole amendment.

Does it have the remains of a metal or wood buttstock?

                Just to clarify:

Dole Amendment was ca. 1984 and allowed certain military rifles into the US. The Good,

GCA of 1968 stopped importation of machineguns into the US for individual ownership. The Bad,

Hughes Amendment of the (laughable) FOPA of 1986 prevented manufacture of future machineguns for individual ownership. The Ugly.
