Beretta Model 418 1937 Dated Pistol

A Interesting Beretta Model 418 Dated 1937.. But proofed marked the 16th. year of The comming to power of Fascism.. The weapon was sold to the Fascist Goverment on Oct. 15, 1937... Thus by the 1938 proof marks was issued or put into service in 1938???...This weapon was taken from an Italian in North Africa, by one of my Childhood neighbors... Cal. 6.35mm .25auto.. Enjoy...BILL

          Grip Safety??

          Bill,
Another of your wonderful things!! We seldom see things that have come out of North Africa, We are used to seeing stuff out of Europe. Most interesting. did he have the holster and ammo too.
Is that a grip safety that I see sticking out the back of the grip?/
