    cloth container for throwing charges, info!

    Hi all, I have found this strange object.
    Tell me it's a container for throwing charges.
    Is possible get more news?

    Looks like its marked up as a charge bag for 7.5 cm ammunition.

    If it is a split case ammunition it "could" be a booster charge as "some" weapons are capable of having the range extended subject to the actual round being fired.

    I am sure that Mr Klarkon will be able to answer your question with accuracy if he sees this post, or do a search for KLARKON and send him a Private message to review the item. He is VERY VERY good with this kind of item.

      Those bags contains the gunpowder, so they will be put into the shells during manufacture - the gunpowder was not sitting loose in the shells

            Yep, the gunpowder for these was something like long macaroni, tubular. See pic. I'll try to find one full size with the sack.
