Webley MK Pistol .455 Cal Question

I have this Webley MKVI I .455. It came with smooth wood grips. I obtained a pair of medium black grips, but do not have a grip screw for the black grips. I have searched everywhere with no success. The wood grips have a brass screw that is too narrow for the black grips.

It is interesting that the pistol was manufactured in 1915, but not admitted into the military acceptance until 1923. There are traces of green paint on the pistol, which I have left intact.

I also am looking for the bayonet, original, for this pistol. That would look good on the wall.

Would anyone have a spare grip screw or a source for one?

    Thank you,

Remember to look for the little "elephant in the circle" stamp - on the Greener/Pritchard bayonet, so you don't accidentally buy an aged IMA India-made bayonet by mistake.

        Nice revolver~!

Sadly, they use their own screws which will not fit original grips.

I am still looking. Perhaps someone has a badly damaged set of grips from where I can salvage a screw.

I have tried every hardware store for the correct threads, but Webley have have had their own proprietary screws.

I would try SARCO; they have a ton of gun parts. Probably not listed on their website, but call them and ask if they have it.

NC Ordnance came through with the correct thread, diameter and length screw for my grips. Their service was prompt, personal and professional.
