    MG42/34 BAKELITE BUTTSTOCK: good or not?

    Hello guys, i am really out of this "gun world", could you help me please?
    Is this stock ww2 original? It has got some marks inside that tells...
    Wmf /PB and other side i can see 12-139-6131, sorry for the poor pictures but they are from the seller.
    Thanks in advance for your honest considerations. What about the market value nowadays?

    Post-war and I believe early Rheinmetall manufacture or contract. Number is inventory number. Fair condition so worth about $75 to $125 in US.
    It is difficult to restore these stocks to really nice condition due to the plastic composition but with appropriate polishing equipment for that composition of plastic it might be improved in appearance. FWIW
