Need help with a prewar Walther PPK mag finger extension .

Got an early Walther PPK – Zella Mehlis mag with unusual finger extension . It’s a blued steel FE which looks pretty similar to the early black or brown plastic FE . It was made very professional and fit perfect . Have attached a buch of pix showing it from all sides. Has anyone seen such a FE before ?

It is very nicely made. I forwarded some of your image to noted Walther author Dieter Marshall and he replied the FE is the skillful work of a craftsman, but not factory produced.
