    FAT 42 Carcano

I saw Bill post some pictures of his Carcano the other day, so I dusted mine off and here it is. This one is the most... "salty" firearm I own...
    But, here's the boy..

Should the knotch in the hand guard be so deep? It fits fine, but it seems a little too deep...

No, but I actually have to post about the Enfield. It's missing a sight, and I don't even know from where since I got it like that... a thread coming soon.

Not at all sure that I know one from another, but I have one and I think two small cardboard boxes about 3"X3"x2" each holding three clips of six rounds of ammo for,I think, an Itallian 91 rifle 6.5mm. Is this the same as the piece you're speaking of? These are GI bringbacks, and the rounds are corroding to some degree. Printed on the box(s) is:

                        A PALLOTTOLA
                        ARMI Mo 91 EMITRAGLIATRI??
                        BOLOGNA F.P 1923
                        SOLENITE

Assume these may have some collectors value, but don't know. You tell me
From the same old gentleman,an Army Intell type, I have a couple of German pubs addressing intelligence collecting from the air over England and Spain.Numerous pages of photos of bridges, factories, rail junctions, etc, things air intell folks target.Won't part with them, but wonder if there is any significant collectors value.

Dion, I had a request also from SEBA, So I sent him three and asked him to send you one, if it is no problem to ship to Germany, I don't think it would be any problem since there are plenty of Mp40, and other magazines for sale in Germany.. There is no charge just a favor for a couple of fellow collectors...BILL
