Bill is correct. An RC unissued RB numbered Police type holster. Very commonly found these days.

You know Bill, these holsters always puzzled me. I remember my good fortune back in the 80s on finding examples of police hardshell P38 holsters. 1943 Sindels and 1944 Fischers. I even found a 1944 Fischer that was mostly ersatz except for strap, belt loops and mag pouch. Then years later these unused examples flood in when the wall comes down. What was the thinking of the police high command in ordering this production? It used more leather than the ersatz 1944s. I would presume these came later in 1944 or even 1945, but they didnt bother to date them. It would seem the Soviet forces took a holster factory intact and decided to ship them to storage in the Ukraine. Really strange.

I can only assume these were ordered along with that last late production run of p38's at mauser ? Only thing that makes sense.

If real don't pay more than 75.00 -80 bucks cause guys are still swimming in these...

Well someone back then sure got their order sizes outa wack, given so few E/F svw 45s and the glut of these holsters.
