Took some pics of my MG34 stocks...I have tips for all the bakelite "tipped" stocks, just waiting to get them back together. Some of these were cracked split apart basket cases that have came back to life....

My reply seems to have vanished so try again..........with regards to the stocks Bakelite. Any details on the dates and manufacturers?
Reason I ask is that "some" seem quite refined and others are very heavy on the material/woodscrap filler.
Wondering if the ones with more filler are late versions trying to save on resin etc or just different manufactures. Understood if difficult due to degradation in the ground.

Dates might be found inside the bakelite butts. Usually with the MPA stamp.
