    K98 Cleaning Chain?

    Hi Folks:

Not sure what year...but I know it's a cleaning chain for a weapon. Not sure the timeframe/period. Markings "DM191 LOS DAG 1.9" Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Might be current or...so I apologize.

The chain is a post war RG34 cleaning kit chain. The case might be American. I believe DM stands for Des Moines ammunition plant.

Thank you for the info....I knew that it was a German cleaning chain similar to K98 kit which I have a few of.....but for me...I have not seen a “spent” brass round attached to the end. These chains usually have a loop or hook assembly on the end where one can attach brushes etc.

I believe the brass thing on the end is a German primer used for bag charges used in artillery pieces.
