ww 1 flare gun holster in picture

have this old photo postcard from luxembourg dated sept. 1918 it show
border control from luxembourg to germany the village is BOLLENDORF PONT
nice to see flare gun with holster i presume that it is german imperial due to
luxembourg where neutral in 1914 and run over from imperial army . dificult
to find today original imerial holsters . when you have specimen please show it here .
