    MG patronenkasten 34

Can someone help me identify the markings on this ammo can. Both the waffenamt and manufactures logo is hard to read and the white lettering on the side is of unknown meaning. the number on top I guess is the serial number of a MG34.

If you can make out the three digit code under a magnifying glass this might help:

I think the white letters on the side mean: 3. Zug, 2. Gruppe (3rd Platoon, 2nd squad).
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.

9672 would be for the MG S/N. I have seen that maker's logo before...but can't remember the name.
