I see nothing extraordinary in this patronenkasten. WW2 German in a quite poor condition. Material is steel I assume. Thus must be produced during the war. Patronenkasten 15 looks a bit different with different handle on top.

Thank's for your answer. I see strange lock lever, so try to ask may be it's something not usual.

Indeed interesting box. I would say it is Weimar era alteration of Patronenkasten 15. It resambles much an early Patronenkasten 34 from 1935. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...1009398&page=2. I have seen one box very close to one pictured here but it has riveted hinge for top cover. It also displayed three colour camo scheme. Probably something from early thirties.
