I have a need for a couple of the bottom pieces for an MG34 buttstock. The metal tips in particular, I did a refurb project on a bakelite stock piece that was a relic (this was an utter basket case, cracked, split, etc. So overall came out pretty good, I actually have about 5 of the top pieces, but need two bottom metal tips, so will trade if anyone is up for that? I know this is a "hens teeth" item.... Chris...

Re comment on repro, agreed it is not a sought after item and realistically would the german army carry the metal tip as a spare item or would they just change the stock?
Collectors however may get a stock from ground dug with good Bakelite but bad metal so they would want one.
Repro wise I have seen them on the French guys website, he carries a lot of stamped type of repro,s including for instance MG13 Trommel Trager (low demand) Tool kit inserts for ammo boxes (High Demand) MG15 Drum Carriers et al. I assume he has access to a quality metal stamping shop or actually runs one and the repro stuff is a sideline to "Business as usual"

Tim
